      It’s possible but there are lots of things we need to get better at. Getting people there safely is the first problem, then we need to either make or bring our own oxygen to breathe and water to grow food. Keeping them safe while they’re there is another problem, radiation from the sun and outer space and storms and a harsh environment with no breathable air make it especially difficult to live on other planets. It may not happen for another few decades.

      Maybe, however we need to work out how far away the planet is, and how we can repopulate the planet there?

      Due to such logistical issues, chances are, a few specialist astronauts would travel to the other planet with frozen human embryos which would then be used to repopulate the planet rather than transport the current people to another planet.
