      A few things:
      On a personal level, it was a very challenging time when my mom was detected with cancer and the world was going through a recession. it was financially and emotionally very challenging.

      Career-wise, I had a challenging time finding a Ph.D. after my masters, where I had nothing to do for almost 8 months.

      However, the silver lining with challenging times is that they always make you a better, tougher person with great strength and character. The opportunity to learn from them is unlimited.
