plenty, working in climate change research can be very frustrating and tires you out some times but I’ve always found that the best way for me to keep positive is to keep busy, the more I work the better my chances of making a difference

Yes, there were many times during my bachelor, master and PhD studies especially when things did not go my way, i felt like giving up.
At such times it is very important to have the support of your loved ones and most importantly be positive and realistic with yourself. giving up is very easy, it is not wrong, but you must ensure that you wont ever regret giving up, as that opportunity will never come back.
That’s how i try to reason with myself during such times.

Definitely, during my engineering degree and PhD, I had lots of times when I wanted to give up when things didn’t work out or got really difficult. Staying positive is important but not easy at all times but it’s best to reassure yourself based on past achievements, get support and encouragement from friends and family and think about whether what you’re doing now is right for you in the long run. Sometimes knowing that you’ll get the outcome you want in the end is enough to help you push through the difficult times.
