      When I am at international conferences, I have met many people that were at the top of the fields that I am working on.

      Not a living one but when I visited Niagara Falls I was excited to get my picture beside a statue of Nicola Tesla. Reading about him in school was one of the things that inspired me to be an engineer.

      I once met the former CEO of Chevron, which is a very big oil company, now called Valero. He studied chemical engineering in UCD like I did.
