      No, until I was about 11 I played football and then I switched to rugby. In secondary school I won trophies with both the school and local club; Waterpark.

    I still do, even at 44 years of age. It’s the less competive social hurling version that I play every Saturday.

    My local Hurling Club Dicksboro, are starting up a 4th Senior Hurling Team, so I might give that a shot if my skills and fittness permit.

    It is so very important to stay fit and active, not only that but it’s great as a destressor and great for ones mental health.
