      I think our ancestors were wise in inventing the wheel, it has changed the way we live now. For me that has to be the best invention so far.

      These can produce water out of thin air in places like the desert were they cant get water, its really cool

      My favorite, as a chemical engineer, is the Haber process which was invented in 1913 for making ammonia so we can put nitrogen into the soil and fertilise plants. It’s almost impossible to do this otherwise. Half of the world’s population is fed with plants grown using artificial fertiliser so we would probably be a population of only 4 billion without this invention.
