Things would get slowly worse, threatening the existence of life on the planet

If we continue on our present course we will soon reach a tipping point which would mean that we could not return to our present state by natural means. The only option after passing the tipping point would be to Terraform the planet back to the way is was, by chemical and or mechanical processes. This would take huge amounts of energy to carry out.

Life as we know it wouldn’t exist. I hope that never happens.

Climate change and pollution will damage habits killing off more animals that will never return. Access to food and clean water will decrease. Lots of people will probably need to live elsewhere because of rising sea levels, floods, storms and extreme temperatures. Air quality will get worse and more people will die due to lung disease. It’s pretty bad but we still have time to act to reduce our impact.
