      Yes, Smoking not only releases CO2, but also a mix of nitrous and sulfur oxides into the environment.

      Not only this, but the amount of paper, energy that goes in tot he manufacture and packaging of cigarettes is also high.

      Smoke is bad for the environment because it contains tiny particles that get into our lungs, damage them and make us sick. Air pollution kills millions of people every year worldwide.
