Wind turbines have a generator connected to the blades which spin when the wind blows. These generators are connected to the electricity grid and give us power like other generators.

when the blades of the windmill move, they create mechanical energy that is used to spin a shaft inside the windmill. A transformer then converts this mechancal energy to electrical energy, which is transmitted to our homes using an electrical line, so we can enjoy clean and green energy at our doorstep.
