Not necessarily, while the virus is not particularly dangerous, and people with coronavirus can be cured, it is ok to take sufficient precaution as it is still an unknown enemy.

It’s hard to say, everyone has a different perspective depending on their own health situation and that of their families. While it is not meant to be worse than a flu for young, healthy people we should still listen to the expert advice on hand washing, using tissues etc.

It’s a bit of a mix, some media reports have been very good and based on accurate scientific and medically relevant evidence we have on Coronavirus. Unfortunately, there is a lot of false information spread by news outlets which just want to get our attention and don’t care if we do the right thing. It’s important to get our information from the people who are looking at coronavirus carefully and give us accurate information like the World Health Organisation, the Center for Disease Control and the Irish Health Service Executive.

They recommend us to wash our hands carefully and often, don’t touch our eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands and let our GPs or emergency services know if we think we might have coronavirus for further advice.
